Paid-Training and Professional Development
We're committed to your success and will support you through various training and professional development opportunities:
We'll cover the costs of your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and ensure you complete the required 40 hours of training.
We offer a CHAT certification, an alternative method to ABA therapy for kids with ASD, for licensed clinicians (LMFTs, LPCCs, LCSWs).
For Associate clinicians (AMFT, ACSW, APCC), you can provide therapy to individuals while gaining your hours towards licensure. Excellent clinical supervisors at BTS will guide you along your path, with opportunities to continue with BTS post-licensure.

ABA Careers at BTS

Behavior Technicians/RBT Jobs
This is an entry-level, direct care staff who is 18 years of age or older, has at least a high school diploma or equivalent, and has 6+ months of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities (if the applicant has personal experience working with a person with developmental disabilities, including Autism, Cerebral Palsy, etc. they may still be eligible to be hired as a Behavior Interventionist).
Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 direct programs and group sessions to children and adolescents up to 18 years old. (You will be trained and supported onsite).
Collect and record accurate data on client progress (training & support onsite).
Work with children in our clinic, providing a safe and supportive environment.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Jobs
BCBAs are specialists within the ABA domain, adept at crafting tailored interventions to aid individuals with autism, enhance their quality of life, and strive for significant progress. To become a BCBA, you must hold a master’s degree. This position will provide clinical supervision as well as oversight of the programs being implemented by the Supervisor/BCaBA and Behavior Interventionists.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement a wide range of ABA programs for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and delays.
Meet with families/caregivers in-clinic or via telehealth on a weekly basis to review progress on goals, determine the effectiveness of intervention strategies, and consult about the overall implementation of the treatment plan.
Define target behaviors and write treatment goals while coordinating evidence-based programs, reinforcement, antecedent management strategies, protocols, interventions, etc.
Model for and teach support staff how to implement intervention strategies and protocols.

ABA Supervisor/BCaBA Jobs
ABA mid-level supervisors play a crucial role in ABA, providing hands-on oversight and guidance to therapists implementing behavior intervention plans for clients, especially those with autism spectrum disorders. To qualify for this position, candidates need a bachelor's degree in a related field and practical experience in ABA therapy. Supervisors work under the BCBA and Clinical Director oversight and guidance.
Responsibilities
Supervise ABA programs to assist clients in learning various skills related to cooperation with daily routines and demands, coping with stress, play and social interactions, functional communication, attending to tasks, safety awareness, and self-help.
Model for and teach support staff how to implement intervention strategies and protocols across various settings.
Provide appropriate data sheets that reflect the client's goals/programs.
Set up and maintain ABA session schedules for support staff and clients and manage planned and unplanned adjustments or cancelations.
Meet with families/caregivers in their homes on a weekly basis to review progress on goals, determine the effectiveness of intervention strategies, and consult about the overall implementation of the treatment plan.

Mental Health Careers at BTS
Our mental health therapy program specializes in treating individuals navigating a spectrum of emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges. Mental Health Therapist High-Level Chat Program
We seek licensed clinicians (LMFTs, LPCCs, LCSWs) who are licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and must hold a master’s degree. Chat is a program designed to help parents and caregivers of children with delayed language and social-emotional development learn and grow. It was recently launched as a pilot program as an alternative to ABA that BTS was able to participate in the pilot, and we are excited to build a team around this new, cutting-edge treatment for children with Autism and other delays. Therapists will become chat-certified, which means they will get an extra certification on their resume!
Responsibilities
The clinician will guide the family through the Chat modules, worksheets, and handouts as appropriate. Modeling, live coaching, and focused conversations are used throughout.

Mental Health Therapist
We are seeking licensed clinicians (LMFTs, LPCCs, LCSWs) and associate clinicians (AMFTs, APCCs, ACSWs) who are licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences and hold a master's degree. This position will be held by an individual who has the training, education, and experience necessary to serve as a therapist for children, youth, adults, and aamilies affected by mental & behavioral issues, trauma, loss, grief, developmental disabilities, and other needs.
We provide weekly individual, triadic, and/or group supervision to our Associates so that they may gain their required BBS hours for licensure and learn from the wonderful clinicians on our team and each other.
